In our first Division 4 match with 5 new players playing their 1st Outdoor game, despite the cloudy and rainy weather conditions and a slippery pitch making it tough to hit boundaries, everyone gave it their all in yesterday's match. Scoring 126 runs and keeping Esbjerg on their toes until the last ball was incredible! Even though we didn't come out on top, the fight we put up was truly commendable.

A special mention to Paradesi and Mohammed Shahid (15 runs) for their stellar performance. They held their wickets for the first 10 overs, which was crucial, and Paradesi's nerve-wracking innings until the very end, scoring 44 runs, was absolutely outstanding!

Let's not forget the crucial last partnership of 36 runs between Santosh Kumar Pannala (17) and Paradesi (44 not out), which brought us to a decent score. And kudos to Mohit Sharma Sharma for adding 15 runs to our tally. Every contribution counts, and each of you played a significant role in keeping us in the game until the last ball.

Our bowling was exceptional! Faisal was incredibly economical, giving only 7 runs in 4 overs and taking 2 crucial wickets. Santosh Kumar Pannala also contributed with 2 wickets, while Shahid, and Sowmyajit got 1 wicket each. Mohit, Soren and Paradesi also bowled very good. All bowlers maintained a great line and length, not allowing the opposition to score freely.

The last 2 overs were complete nail-biters. Esbjerg had to score 7 runs in the last over, and we got the 8th wicket on the 4th ball. They needed 2 runs in 1 ball, which we could have won based on the situation, but unfortunately the last ball went for a wide, giving them an opportunity to level the score and take the last run on the final ball. Let's learn from this and improve our batting, catching during practice sessions and keep pushing forward for the next game! 🏏💪"
